The Autumn Internationals are over for England so there is no excuse not to get down to the Rec this Saturday afternoon and cheer on the Reds 2nd XV who take on Somerset side, Wiveliscombe.
The Reds arrive at the game in 6th place in the table after their 26-21 home win over Barnstaple last week. Wiveliscombe currently sit in 4th place after squeezing out a 13-10 victory away at Bideford.
Wiveliscombe, known as ‘Wivey’ for those challenged at spelling have been in existence since 1872 which makes them one of the oldest clubs in Somerset. As well as their first team they also field a side in Tribute Somerset 2 South.
Referee: Danny Robbins.
While you are down at the club, take the opportunity to buy a copy of Hellfire Awaits, the definitive history of Redruth RFC. The idea Christmas present for the Redruth fan and each purchase puts £7.50 in the club coffers. Have a word with Theresa.
