After two fine results on the road, a 38-11 defeat of Hinckley, and a wet and windy 10 all draw at promotion chasing Taunton Titans, the Reds are back on home turf with a match against Loughborough Students, our last home league game before Christmas.

Loughborough are just one place and two points above the Reds in the table. With Luctonians hosting Old Redcliffians and Hornets travelling to Macclesfield, a five pointer this afternoon has the potential to move us further up the ladder.

Loughborough though will prove a tough proposition. Of the four games our two sides have played in the last two seasons, the results have always gone the way of the home side. All the games have been high scoring so, weather permitting, we should be in for a treat.

Since joining the league system Loughborough Students have been an open club and have forged close links with Leicester Tigers. The Tigers U18 Academy side plays on Loughborough’s ground.
