Dings clinch the title and promotion

Within the 1st minute, Dings are on the front foot, with a kick chase and quick hands putting electric winger, Solomon Taufa over the line. Expertly converted form the edge by dependable youngster, Sam Worsley.
Redruth sparking through the hands with ex Dings man Chris Rovers assuming the 9 role for a couple of phases, but loose ball and inspired use of the width, gifts Dings captain, Matt Smith a run in behind the sticks for 7.
Redruth pressure now, as they settle into the game. Redruth scrum in Dings 22 is met with a surging pack, and they find themselves on the back foot once more, Dings capitalise taking the points through Worsley.
Battling Redruth fired up after Dings infringements, opt for scrums in lieu of penalties, and with Dings unable to form a defence, Rovery takes the ball crashing over to score for the visitors, converted by Dan Rutter
Dings are back immediately though, a run through dominant second row, Matt Lane, then Oscar Lennon, followed by dependable Joe Hawkesby rewarded on his 300 appearance for the Crusaders. All followed by Worselys boot.

Half Time 38-7

A spirited start to the second half, with both teams attacking through the centre, but Dings Jake Holcombe makes a devastating run through the broken Redruth defence, offloading to Lennon who takes 5 more.
Dings and Redruth ring the changes, and the dominance continues from the home side as Harry Hone crosses, converted by replacement fly-half, Jacob Perry
Visitors under pressure at their line, and Matthew Pritchard sees yellow with 8 minutes left.
The subsequent line out drive sees replacement hooker and birthday boy Tommy Gollop over for 5 more, with Taufa crossing again, and to seal the game, and promotion Perry converts George Boultons try. 69-7
